The Murder House in Moscow, Idaho Has Been Blurred Out By Google Maps

It’s so wild to me how in such a normal looking street, something so sinister could happen. The Murder House makes you realize how mortal you are and how life can be gone in a blink of an eye.

Police who are looking into the killings of four University of Idaho students have announced that a professional team will clean up the crime scene.

Chief James Fry of the Moscow Police Department said in a video update on Thursday that cleaning would be done before the home at 1122 King Road is handed over to the property management firm.

A professional cleaning team will begin visiting the house on Friday morning, Mr. Fry said.

“Part of the reason we’re doing that is because of the biohazards, as well as chemicals that were used during the investigation.”

Authorities have not made any arrests or identified any suspects more than six weeks after the deaths of Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, and Kaylee Goncalves.

A white 2011–2013 Hyundai Elantra was observed nearby the murder house site around the time that the stabbings are thought to have occurred on November 13; investigators are currently looking for information regarding this vehicle.

It would have been difficult for the murder house killer to walk about the “creaky” house discreetly, according to a previous renter of the residence where four University of Idaho students were killed in their sleep.

During his junior year of college, Cole Altenede resided in the six-bedroom off-campus murder house on King Road in Moscow. He will graduate from the university in 2022.

Current residents Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Kernodle’s boyfriend, who was spending the night with her, were fatally stabbed inside the home on November 13.

At night the house is lit by an eerie glow coming from a computer monitor that reads 'No Network Detected' after police took the hard drive for investigation.

While at home at the time, two other female housemates are said to have slept through the vicious assaults.

According to Moscow Police, the fatalities were discovered on the second and third floors of the house, while the surviving housemates were in rooms on the first level.

Early on in the inquiry, the two remaining roommates were both ruled out as suspects.

As the investigation into the quadruple murder of four Idaho students continues, the mother of a lady who survived a triple murder in Moscow back in 2015 has spoken out.

Moscow has not registered a murder since 2015 until the deaths of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin on November 13.

In that homicide, a shooter opened fire inside a nearby Arby’s restaurant.

The incident claimed the lives of three people.

According to Angela Davidson, Sydney Jones, who worked at the restaurant, was shot that day but survived.

Her heart goes out to the families and the two remaining roommates of the 13 November attack, she added, adding that Ms. Jones hasn’t been the same since the killings.

“I can’t imagine the family now. And the survivors, especially what they’re going through here, not knowing who did it, and possibly having that person still out there,” she said.

She pleaded with the families of the two still alive housemates to “love them, listen to them, and be there for them.”

“Seek out the professional help. They may say they don’t want it, but they need it. And they are going to process it in so many different ways,” she said.

Hundreds attended the celebration of life for the four students killed by an unknown assailant.

“It’s nice to have a professional on your side and the support of a mental health professional to get through this time because it’s not a quick thing. There’s a forever scar. And it’s going to be there forever.”

The deaths in the tiny, renown for being safe college town have investigators baffled, and they still have no suspects or individuals of interest on their radar.

Officials haven’t provided many updates on the case in recent weeks, and this lack of communication has only served to fuel an online rumor and conspiracy theory storm among internet sleuths.

Police have resorted to refuting some of these internet hypotheses that they are aware to be false while remaining silent about what they do know.

However, when new facts or theories are disproved, many more concerns regarding the case are raised. It’s no surprise Google has made the move to blur out the grisly image of the murder house on Google Maps.
