Elon Musk Tweets Video of Himself 'Arriving' at Twitter HQ With Bathroom Sink

If there were a God, you wouldn’t be reading this right now.  We simply would not be watching Elon Musk’s video of himself carrying a bathroom sink out of (or into?) Twitter HQ.  End of story.

“Entering Twitter HQ—let that sink in!” Musk posted a tweet earlier today. This is a complete reversal from only last month, when Musk and his attorneys fought tenaciously in court to avoid paying $44 billion to purchase Twitter and offered any justification to do so (Twitter’s metrics are inflated, the algorithms are broken, etc.).

Are my eyes deceiving me?  Is this really happening?  God approved this? Will we even care in 6 months?

After the initial set of text messages between Elon Musk and his circle of sycophantic billionaires and elites about Twitter were made public, the threats of a lawsuit and ensuing trial took months to materialize but only three days to dissipate.

Now that Musk has offered to purchase the business at his original asking price and a deadline of this Friday looms, the transaction is all but guaranteed.

Elon Musk is infamously unstable, so a video of him laughing about at the Twitter office the day before may not signal that the deal is for sure.

We’ve seen some investors withdraw, others expressed doubts about Musk and the deal, and Tesla’s shares—the collateral for crucial finance packages that made the acquisition possible—were down nearly 50%, but everything will be fine.

Elon Musk has a tendency to turn situations that ought to be working against him. Just to name a few off the top of my head there was the inflated Tesla’s valuation, claims of sexual harassment against him and Tesla, sabotaging California’s high-speed rail with a faulty plan, allegedly running one of the most racist workplaces you’ve ever heard of, defamation lawsuits, etc.

Yet in some magical Musk way, he tends to flip the script via  and media spectacles that end up serving as nothing more than fuel for his ego.

Finally a happy ending for the rich people. I know it’s hard to believe, but the world’s richest guy got what he wanted. Soak that in, God.
